Well, with exam week about to start, I figure that I should at least take some time to relax and post up the summary of this Visual Novel in the works.
The Devil's Charm
Meet Miles Wallace, a normal teenager in his sophomore year of high school, a young man who loves reading detective novels, playing video games, fighting shows and participating in his school’s karate club.
It’s too bad that he’s just been hit by a car, putting him in the hospital with several serious injuries and with no chance of survival. However, as Miles lays in his hospital bed, a voice calls out to him, asking him if he wants to live, even if it means to ride with a devil for the rest of his life.
With what little strength he has, Miles agrees.
Sixth months later, after a recovery, Miles is fully recovered but his family is just glad to have him alive. However, while Miles was recovering, his father had acquired a better job and the family has to move. So, Miles gets transferred to a new high school one located in some backwatered town called New Rytsel.
After a long trip, the Wallace family finally reaches Rytsel, and Miles gets set up in his new room (which is actually the basement of his family’s new house). And he’s annoyed that this happened, his entire life was turned upside down in that accident, all his old friends are back at his old home town, he’s entering a new school, he doesn’t know anyone in the town.
And to top it off, in the last year there have been a large amount of incidents ranging from simple theft to arson that has caused a few people’s deaths. And although the New Rytsel Police Force has been on the case, there has been a lack of any definite evidence that would lead them to a culprit.
And Miles gets wrapped up into the whole situation when his younger sister goes missing. Will he be able to find her? Or will his fate fall into the devil's hands?
